Reference Redefined
A service design & messaging experience for reference librarians & library patrons. By the Site for Thesauri team {Kris Lackner & Allen Snider}.
In combining innovative design with an emphasis on accessibility, Reference Redefined seeks to bring the best of both worlds — online convenience & in-person authenticity — to the reference experience.
I was the UX Designer for this collaborative class project, a role that was central to every major phase of the process — in generating ideas through team whiteboarding, conducting stakeholder research on accessible design, building a Lean Canvas, sketching multiple iterations of our UI, directing medium-fidelity paper prototypes & higher fidelity ‘Wizard of Oz’-style mockups, & in producing a final demo video that outlines our process & results while giving a compelling pitch for our designed solution.
